As promised
I am now running a guided walk along the Thames that will take
in some of the places where sightings have been made.
The walk will incorporate several sites of historical interest
with a relevance to the Angel sightings. It starts at Temple,
the furthese extent of the Great Fire of 1666, passing
along the Victoria embankment where the angel was spotted
by builders building the embankments. We then continue
on to the houses of Parliament. Here there was a sighting
of angels which pre-dates the fire! Over Westminster bridge
to Jubilee Gardens, the burial place for the 6 dead of
the Great Fire, crossing the Thames again over Waterloo
bridge.
Next Walk: Wednesday 20th
September.
Meeting outside Temple Tube at 6.00pm.
Then Tuesday 26th September, same time, same place..
